Podcast: Play in new window | Download (Duration: 1:10:18 — 80.5MB)
Do you feel an urge to expand your experience and spiritual knowledge? Do you wish to explore teachings that complement your understanding of presence and of Eckhart Tolle’s Power of Now? Are there other teachers or teachings that could help you deepen your understanding of presence or enlightenment and support you on your spiritual journey?
On this recording of our December 7, 2010, teleseminar, Leo and Greg were joined by special guest Michael Jeffreys, organizer of the Santa Monica Eckhart Tolle Meetup and author of Success Secrets of the Motivation Superstars, to talk about our spiritual journeys and what teachers or teachings have been a part of our awakening.
Michael has had the unique opportunity to experience many spiritual teachers as they have passed through Los Angeles and has reviewed dozens of spiritual books on this website. We are excited to have him back for another teleseminar and to tap into his wealth of knowledge. Michael joined us on our October 2009 teleseminar to explore The Illusion of Thought and it has been one of our most popular releases on iTunes.

“When you see the world through your mind, you see a separate and divided up world.
There’s “me” and there’s everything else that’s “not me.” A scary place to live because you feel so alone, isolated, and vulnerable. There’s this sense that we want to be whole again, and thus the search to fill the void takes over our lives.
What we eventually discover is that nothing “outside” us satisfies for long. The relationships, money, possessions, accomplishments, etc. that our mind had us convinced was going to make us happy simply doesn’t. At this point, seemingly out of options, we may begin to look in the one place we haven’t really explored: our own true nature.” ~ Michael Jeffreys

Hi Greg and Leo,
In your teleseminar with Michael Jeffreys, you mentioned the connection between E. Tolle and Budhism. I feel the same way regarding the connection. In my search for more information on Budhism, I have found this really good website, which you might be interested in:

What a great resource, Gladys. Thank you!
Hi Greg and Leo
I have been on your list for a little while. I dip in and out!
Eckhart’s message is really quite simple: simple is not easy! Thanks for what you do. I often find just someone else’s words, interpretation, slant or whatever often resonates and helps me over a difficult moment. Perhaps it is the slight alterations in focus. I found the podcast on dealing with other people’s pain body particularly reinforcing.
All the best

Thanks Jenny for taking a dip with us! So glad to hear that our interpretation/slant on Eckhart’s beautiful teachings has helped you with difficult moments – such as with other people’s pain bodies! Thanks for your support, Greg
