Do you want to learn how yoga can help you grow in presence power, bring your body and mind back into natural alignment, and deepen your experience with the teachings of Eckhart Tolle? Join us and special guest, Brendon Lumgair, as we discuss how yoga can help you create “space” in your life and serve as a system for spiritual growth. All this and more on the recording of our January 5th teleseminar.

Brendon Lumgair is a yoga teacher, spiritual teacher, and creator of the “A New You Program” at his website www.AwakenedAction.com.

Based on his years of experience as a practitioner and teacher, Brendon shares that, “The physical yoga postures are only one of the eight parts or “limbs” of yoga as a complete spiritual growth system. Practicing the 8 limbs help you grow in Presence Power by being present with sense-perceptions, being spacious awareness, living with harmonious ethics and dissolving the ego and pain-body.”

In this tele-seminar you will learn:
- The 8 different parts of yoga as a complete system and how the physical postures are only one part of yoga
- How practicing yoga will help you create more space in your body, mind, and spirit and why this is needed to continue growing in presence power
- How to avoid dangerous yoga teachers and find the teacher and style of yoga that is right for you.

We also explore the main benefit of the physical practice – treatment and release of the pain body from the physical system and the mind.

Brendon had a profound Awakening experience while attending a live talk with Eckhart Tolle in 2001. When he sat with Eckhart in Presence he came to know his True Self. He knew himself, life, and the world, in a whole new way.

Brendon has degrees in engineering and philosophy. He went on to work as an engineer in the corporate world for five years where he practiced presence in the work place.

Brendon’s outer purpose was revealed to him while attending a retreat with Eckhart Tolle in Costa Rica in 2004. His outer purpose is to help awaken consciousness on the planet. A key tool is utilizing the power of the internet and technology.

Brendon and a friend then started a community organization called Calgary-Satsang.com to promote and host weekend retreats with spiritual teachers from the United States, Canada and Europe.

In 2004, Brendon was asked to give satsang by Pamela Wilson. He began giving satsang and teaching meditation and yoga as part of supporting people in awakening.

  1. Thanks for this guys. I love your podcasts. Got it bookmarked.

  2. I enjoyed this teleseminar on yoga. My wife took up the practice a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. She’s since fell away from it but has been talking about starting again. I wasn’t that interested until I heard Brendon’s account of the variations and the potentials of growing in all areas of life. Thanks so much for the inspiration.

  3. You’re welcome Terry! Yes, I found Brendon’s account very informative and inspiring. I haven’t started a yoga practice yet, but good shifts have been happening with regards to consciously shaping my body! If you take a yoga class please stop back by and let us know how it goes!
